I didn't realize the Vegas EULA changed to limit the # of systems you can install on when Magix took over. Used to be unlimited, just one system running it at a time.

You now have the advantage that you can deactivate a device so that you can activate a different one and not run into the limit like in the SCS days. See FAQ #9.

Just installed everything on my laptop and while registering, I got a message saying I had reached the maximum number of activations.

I figured it out. It had my desktop listed twice. Maybe when Windows updated or Vegas update was installed it got registered twice. This is awesome having the option of editing with the laptop!
