same old same old again, downloaded the software for Vegas Movie Studio 16 and when i click on setup i get an error message saying it can't connect to server. It's only this software I seem to have issues with. I have checked the firewall settings and everything looks ok as in I've setup a protocol for it to work in and out on the network so I'm at a loss to point of asking for a refund

How do you know you've set up the firewall correctly? Have you checked the firewall logs to see if it is still blocking something that the installer is trying to connect to?

I've even switched off the firewall and it still does the same thing

Are you the administrator of your hardware and of the installed programs?
