I'm not quite sure how to solve your problem; however, I have a question to ask you. I have Windows 98 and need to upgrade to Windows 98 Second Edition (SE) in order to use VideoFactory 2.0. How did you go about upgrading, and how much did Microsoft charge for the upgrade?

You probably won't get any 98SE upgrades from Microsoft anymore. Try checking on eBay. We picked up a dozen Win98SE upgrade discs & licenses for about $15 each last month. The Wal*Mart here in town still has a few boxes on the shelf for $98.97.

You might want to consider Win2000 instead though. It's much more stable, has lots of new features, and supports NTFS which means you won't be limited to 4GB file sizes. At this time, for an enormous number of tedious and sometimes scary reasons, i would not reccomend either WinME or XP. "Run away! Run away!"
