Installed recent update and Movie Studio 16 Platinum disappeared

I got an update advisory and it seemed to install normally on my Win10 PC. However, after restart, the taskbar icon had disappeared, only the update appeared on a search and the editor itself was no longer visible.nor could it be located among the program files. When I tried to reinstall the program from scratch, the installer said the program was already installed and I had to uninstall it in order to reinstall it but as noted I can't find it to uninstall/reinstall it. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Normally I find under the W 10 startbutton left on the taskbar the "Menu Start(Windows)".

When I click that button I find under the V all the installed Vegas Programs, so that even when the desktop or taskbar buttons are gone I can find and start Vegas. Uninstall normally goes from the Configuration screen/ Programs

Thanks! It appeared after another restart and after I deleted the re-install program flle. Makes me wary of installing updates though... Appreciate your time and expertise!
