Installed Update Build 643 of Vegas Pro and now crashes at program st

I tried to submit a support ticket for this and keep getting a message that "request cannot be saved" with no additional information, so am posting here.

I installed update for Vegas Pro 19 Build 643 and now it crashes when I try to start the program. I believe some install files are missing and that may be causing the issues. I tried uninstalling Vegas Pro 19 and got an error that an MSI file was missing. I tried deleting the Vegas 19 directory in C:\Program Files\VEGAS and also deleted the Vegas 19 registry key under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MAGIX, but when I install it still says an earlier version was found and wants to upgrade and then crashes at startup. I think I need to reinstall a full version but am not sure how to do that. How can I manually remove the remnants of the program and do a full install?

A lot of times it helped to reset the program before the start.
