This is for installation problems with Vegas 23 suite. Sorry no good option for this in dropdowns.
I had an external 1TB drive attached (G:\).
The installer was frozen like the attached for hours, I slept on it.
I began investigating why this would be happening.
I looked and found that the G: drive was not responsive. I've not had problems with this drive until now.
In Task Manager that drives active time was pegged at 100%, but 0 R/W.
I pulled the drive and the installer continued.
I have subsequently completed the installations and reattached the drive with no further problems.
I'm not sure what would have caused the drive to hang like it did during the installation of Vegas Pro Suite 23, it was attached but not in any use. This drive is my emergency Windows recovery bootable.
