I've downloaded some fonts and right clicked on them, clicked Install. I see them in Settings (Win 10) but I can't bring them up in Vegas. Any clues ??
I just checked... it is HelveticaNeueLTStd and an open type font. I downloaded an ttf and it shows up in Vegas. Is there anyway to get an Open Type to work in Vegas?
On another note...another font I installed looks NOTHING like it's sample....weird???

well ..,, I just installed the fonts... and to my understanding they should be in Vegas. It seems the ttf fonts work.. but the opebn type are another story.
I read somewhere that vegas only supports True Type. Others 'should' work... but no promise.
Is that what you mean when "ongoing issues" ?
Vegas' ProType Titler is meant to support Open Type Fonts.
The Titles and Text media generator has issues with many fonts. The Vegas legacy titler and Protype titler don't have such issues. I believe they use the operating system font engine. I think T&T might be going off the beaten path here, with it's own font decode and this may be the source of the font issues with T&T.
