installing Vegas 4.0

I'm unable to install my new vegas 4.0...
window pops up and says.."Setup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close."

Information about the system you are installing to might help. Installing from disc or download? What else is on the system?

Do you have admin rights to your computer?
