Integration of ACID 3.0,VegasAudio, &SoundForge 5.0

I have been using ACID to manipulate and arrange my music/loops. I've also been using it as a multitrack "arranger" so I can get a cool visual of the music.
I can record vocals or other instruments into ACID also. Now as I look and learn about MULTITRACK recorders and get deeper involved, I've purchased Vegas Audio/Video.
I notice that the output quality of ACID is the same as VegasAudio although they say VegasAudio is SonicFoundry's bad @$$ MultiTracker all the same DirectX effects I use in Vegas Audio are available in ACID too.
Do "VST wrappers" work in ACID & VegasAudio?
Now, by exporting/importing the wave files I can use them in VegasAudio and arrange them as I would in ACID, but this introduces some limitations(or inexperience) in VegasAudio(tempo/key/etc.)
I am wondering if anyone else does anything like this. Is it really worth it to do this or do you think just keeping everything in ACID will yield the same effect/output quality?(assuming I have equal knowledge of all programs?)

I have ACID 3.0,VegasAudio/Video,SoundForge

--Any ideas, knowledge, or advice on how to use these all in Conjunction?--

I would create (and render) the loop segments in acid (making sure they loop tightly). Then after that, open these time-matched segments in vegas. Do all your mixing/arranging in vegas. You will find vegas' editing superior to acid, but acid is easier to do your time stretches in.

Ditto on that.

In many ways, the guts of both ACID and Vegas are identical software.
They process, handle, and render files in the same way, so the quality
of your output will be the same no matter which one you use.

The difference is in the user interface and how it facillitates different
activities. ACID lets you easily work with loops in a creative process, but
isn't as easy or as capable with recording, editing tracks, and multi-
tracking. Vegas excels in these areas, but has very little support for
creating with loops.
