Inter & Pro on Same Timeline

I have HDV 1080i 1440 X 1080 footage with some animated backgrounds that I purchased from Digital Juice. Should I create my animated backgrounds as progressive or leave them interlaced? My final output is going to be for the web.

I think that you should leave the animations in progressive. Most animations are created that way (I don't know about digital juice) and your final output will be progressive anyway.
