interlacing probs

Guys,
I used a video of a some kids (kindergarten graduation). The video is a close up and then suddenly stops. I grab that frame as a jpeg to hold the image for a few seconds and my problem is the jpg has bad interlacing.

My guess is because the jpg is from video?

Whatever the case I need to know either than (reduce interlace flicker)

I've been told that a minute guassian blur will also help. Any ideas.

Before you save the snapshot to file, change your project properties to None (progressive scan), Interpolate Fields.

You can also use a Velocity envelope to drop the speed to '0' at the desired point.
Remember to add 2 points and place them both at the desired spot, one at 100 and the other at 0.
