I just want to share my finding about a suitable intermediate codec for Flash encoding (giving that no Flash 8 export plugin for Vegas is available yet - hope this will be in the next Vegas BTW...) cause i guess it's a common issue for many of us.
I wanted an high quality, low bandwidth codec that allow me to output long videos from Vegas without getting into high disk space required by DV files. I tried many that are not very Flix frendly (or not efficients) and finally got a very good result with QT VIDEO MPEG-4 (Quality setting at max and uncompressed audio).
Nonetheless, i wonder if any of you has an other/better suggestion in this regard?
