Invisible Keyframes

I have opened a Video FX toward the end of an event and setup the FX for what I want, then I go back to the start of the event and find none of the FX applies. Play the event and the FX keys the changes (from nothing to the changes I made), but I did not put any keys in nor are any visible, so I cannot delete keys or place them at the events start. Any ideas.

Scroll right back to the start and you'll probably see a half-diamond like this: |> at the edge of the timeline. It's the keyframe on the first frame. Delete it and you should be fine.
