This aint no 4k . . . . I've also got some unfortunate frame ghosting.....
Only 16 seconds, but I thought you should see what can be done with some of the plugs available - oh yeah, plus Mercalli Standalone for steadying. All in VP12 B770.
We haven't seen rain like that in three years. Huge drought here in California.
The nasty frame ghosting is almost certainly due to using a render rate different than the original video's frame rate, and leaving resample set to "smart" or "forced." I also noted considerable "rolling shutter" artifact (bending walls when the camera moves). What camera did you use, what frame rate was the original video, and what frame rate was used for render?
... the ghosting might also be due to rendering an interlaced video as progressive, although I don't think it would cause anything this severe ...
Nasty rain huh John? This has been on the agenda since before Christmas(?).
The camera was iPhone; I lost track of the various workflows in and out of Merc - there's the roller!; I almost sure I kept no resample throughout . . . But no interlace. And I'll check.
I'm just enthralled at what this lil ole iPhone cammie can do using my favourite Plugs to enhance and do good.

What about Colorfast floats your boat. Special capabilities?:
* Auto Masking for the 3 areas of level correction. You get a RED Mask that can be adjusted to Blend and merge and the Level of that level. Nice!

* Shape Mask which is yet another MASK that can be set for a 4-Point fully adjustable control of areas.
* It's what the SONY 2nd Colour Corrector would be if it had Graduated from College. Yeah?
* Yes it is quicker and easier, but with that it gotten me to discover more and more about my footage. I've actually CHANGED the focus of my narrative as a result of using ColorFast
