Hello.
I am new to the video editing scene and recently got vegas 4. My hopes are that video editing will become a new profession instead of the hobby that it is now.
After browsing the wonderful threads here and using the software, I have become somewhat comfortable with the functionality of vegas4 but I know there is so much more to learn and develop. Hopefully over time my editing skills will come close to some of the work I have seen here. You all are very valuable to old guys like me that have a family and must use his time wisely.
That being said, I am looking for some vegas4 tutorials to help speed the learning curve so I can really focus on having fun and possibly making money off this new venture . I know that vegas 5 is now out and I was wondering if perhaps someone had some vegas 4 tutorial dvd's or books they would like to sell. If not, what tutorial(s) would you all recommend for an old scurvy such as myself. I have read the manual from start to finish and have only used vegas (so far) for a video album of the wedding day. As you can tell, I have much to learn and would therefore appreciate any advice that can be given.
On the subject of video albums, I would like to see an example of a professional video album. Does anyone have one they could share so that I can see what I can do to get the professional look?
Again, thanks for the valuable insight you all have provided. It's comforting to have a forum for vegas support for those of us that are moving forward with a fun and exciting new path in life.
