Is it wise to install Premiere & vegas on the same OS????

I ended up bying a brand new drive, installing a new version of XP, VEgas, Photoshop, etc. that is just going to be my multiboot for video editing. I was wondering if anyone out there has any problems or gotchas with installing MediastudioPRO and/or Adobe Premiere 6.5 on the same OS/install as Vegas is installed.

Right now with my new clean install Vegas is running like a speedy demon. I LOVE it and don't want to mess it up. Please give me tips about the above and any other you recommend. I have a canopus plugin for MSP7 and premiere that I use occasionally and but don't want to wreck this clean install. Thanks for your help in advance. -Rick

No problems at all with VV and Premiere. Been running both on the same system for several years with no issues. With Satish's plug-in you can frame serve from VV > Premiere or from Premiere > VV as well.

As an added bonus, I belive that all of Vegas's audio effects are also available in Premiere as the DirectX audio plugin. That could be a plus.

yes and no. The DX support in 6.5 is so-so, I have found it to be hit or miss. For audio work I just use Sound Forge. Months ago I had read that Premiere Pro was going to have more robust DX support however I just, yesterday, read that Premiere Pro supports VST plug-ins but does not support DX...and that really sucks. I think this may have to do with Adobe picking up Cool Edit Pro as the same little mention about audio plugs also says that DX is fully supported in Adobe Audition (AKA - Cool Edit Pro).
