Is mouse wheel + Ctrl for moving sliders to the right only, not left?

Example, if using the levels fx, once a slider is selected and highlighted then rolling the mouse wheel forward moves the slider to the right and Ctrl+wheel moves it in small increments to the right.

I thought that rolling the wheel back should move the slider to the left in small or large increments also. I’ve checked the mouse in Windows settings and also VP options/preferences but cannot find a setting to modify.

This has been missing for quite some time. Or maybe it was never there.

Holding Ctrl + click-dragging the slider does allow small increment movement in both directions.

From a previous post, might fix it for you but there is a tradeoff.

I wasn’t aware of this feature (so, thanks for bringing it to my attention). I have just checked it on VP v.14 and on my system it works in both directions, both with and without pressing the control key.

I then checked it on VP v.15, with the same result.

Sounds like a mouse driver problem?

Just as a sidenote: if you click the slider, and keep press ctrl button while dragging it, it can be adjusted even more fine grained then with ctrl-mousewheel.

Pressing Ctrl as you drag allows finer adjustments to be made in just about everything controlled by dragging or sliding in Vegas,

Happy days! Thanks david-tu. Even after I saw the solution posted I couldn’t see it, I kept going into advanced mouse options, but its on the very 1st. page, not in advanced.

I was just about to go into the attic, in search of different mice.

Really nice to have that back, so handy.
