Hi,

For many years I'm struggling with the VEGAS obsolete 32 bit VST engine. Now they stated that VST is finally fixed and updated in VEGAS 20 with new VST bridge plus VST 3 support. Please someone to tell me is that true and how VEGAS behaving with these new features?

Thank you in advance!

VST3 support in Vegas Pro is clearly marked as being a beta version of VST3 support. iZotope VST3 plugins seem to work well so far but that is not to say that all 3rd party VST3 plugins will work.

You could try the Vegas Pro 20 trial version to test it out for yourself.

It's in beta and while it functions there are issues in my experience with multiple iZotope plugins. I'd check back after an update is released and see if early problems are patched.

Thank you for the answers. I'm using Vegas for many years mainly for audio postproduction and that was a major issue that pushed me to the point that I had planned to change the software. I hope that MAGIC will finally fix that issue, because Vegas is absolutely stunning in terms of interface, speed and productivity.

I have a couple of projects that crash repeatedly when rendering (either video, or audio-only). I traced it to the youlean loudness meter. Vegas 20 found two instances of this plug: .dll and VST3. I've removed the VST3 and it no longer crashes. Alternately, if i just bypass that plugin before rendering, it's fine too.
