I've got about three minutes of some handheld telephoto zoomed SDV that shows how shakey (more of a jitter) I am. Recalling that many years ago, I purchased SteadyHand, I went searching and found the downloaded file, but the registration number is now long gone to who knows where.
I plugged it into the demo copy of SteadyHand and the default results were very good (except for the big orange logo right in the middle of the frames. Just what I need, but I guess DynaPel is no more as I can't find anywhere to purchase a new version.
So... I downloaded the demo of New Blue's stabilizer. After spending many hours trying the presets, then modifying the settings, then trying again, I can't get anything that is appreciably better than the original footage. I'm assuming that I'm doing something wrong, but I'm not encouraged that NB is going to give me what I need.
Does anyone know if Dynapel still exists?
Thanks,
RalphM
