So, I have a directory or more full of media for the project. Throughout the Project editting cycle, media has been added and discarded.
Now the project is complete.
Problem is, there is a lot of media in the project directories that has been discarded, is there any way to recognise these files so that they can be deleted?
I could use the "Project Media" dialog and delete everything with Use Count=0. but a lot of the media is no longer listed in there, due to just having been "Deleted" and not "Deleted from Disk"..
When I am editing the Project, does VMS keep all of the used media files open, and hence locked against being deleted?
If this were so then I could just issue a wildcard delete afgainst my media directories and only the media not included in the project would be deleted.
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Bryan.
