is there a regions list?

Once I go through all my files and edit and name regions, I'm just wondering if there's such a thing as a region list where I can select the regions based on either thumbnails, or at least names and drag them directly into the timeline??

If you have created regions with the trimmer and saved them using the vegas explorer there is view to show regions.

Your named regions should show up there, you can preview them in the the explorer and drag and drop them on the timeline.

This is a very useful function. I've used this to create "cutaway" material. As I get more fluent in V4 I'm sure this practice will become second nature to my workflow. Used in conjunction with trimmer, it does help me.

Save your regions by preference or by icon in the timmer window. Use explore tab, and click regions view. It.s all there and works just like media pool for import to timeline and project. DGrob

That's a way to display regions on the timeline,
