Is there a way to have videos not fade when at the same time?

So, the title is kind of confusing, but here is my problem. In Sony Vegas Pro 13. on Windows 10, I have about 10 videos/pictures, and I want to have them all at the 4:52 mark.  Do I need to make a different channel for each picture, because when I put the pictures on the same channel, they merge, and make a fade, where only one picture shows at once.  Thanks in advanc to everyone who has helped.

You probably want them on different tracks. Do you want each video/picture to appear in different parts of the screen at the same time? If so, use Track Motion or Event Pan/Crop to position them.

Not sure what you want to do?  Nick is suggesting something like this "video wall" .. Is this what you want?

Yeah, Nick your kindof get what I'm saying.  I have 2 pictures, for 10 seconds long.  I want them at the 4:16 mark. Do I have to put them on two different video channels, or can I have them on the same channel, and have them at the same time, so thy both appear on the screen at different places.  Whenever I try to do this, it just asks me what kind of fade I want, and only shows 1 picture.

All very doable on separate TRACKS. We use TRACKS.

What?

You're calling the TRACKS we use, CHANNELS. It's important because, what you're embarking on, TRACK MOTION, is going to be used to help you.

Would you like a Screengrab of how this would look like on my Timeline?

Sure, I am still kindof confused.  Sorry.

No worries. We all started some place, and some of us, me, forget the simplest of things. Lol!

It would help us, and you, to get a rudimentary understanding of the Terms we bandy about here.

So, give me a couple of minutes and I'll post a ScreenGrab.

But back into my question, do I have to do it on different tracks, or can I have 2 photos at the same time on the same track located at different places of my screen.

If you wish to see BOTH Events (Photos) at the same time you need two Tracks.

The Track Timeline is exactly that, it is a Timeline. So, Photos or Video - here's another term for you - Events to be seen at the same time would need to occupy the same place ON the Timeline but on a different Track and reduced in size! Track Motion is your friend here.
