I think the problem is that the file type doesn't support that data. One way around this is to bring the file back into the same project, perhaps there's even a script around somewhere to read the data from the 'other' project into the new one?

About all you can do to keep intelligent notes, is to embed the file path in the rendered file, and open the original veg file from the embedded information. As long as the original veg is on the system, you'll be able to do this. Otherwise...it's just markers.

I think you are talking about markers embedded in rendered avi. If you open the file in trimmer, the information is there.
