Is there ANY way to recover these files?!!!

I just selected a several .AVIs in a folder to delete leaving the ones i wanted unselected....I got the message that it was too much for the recycle bin (which I expected) and hit delete anyway and it deleted the whole damned folder for some reason. Is there any way to retrieve them?

Sure, there are plenty of undelete programs, but the important thing is to not use that drive for anything until you run the program.

Search on Tucows or download.com for undelete utilities. You should probably do this from another computer.

If these were captured from tapes, and you still have the originals, then it might be easier to just recapture. If the AVIs were edited, and you can't rerender them, then you'll have to try to undelete them.
