do a page peel transition so it looks like the pages are being put back, ie a reverse normal page peel but without rendering and reversing the clip

I assume you've already considererd reversing the transition itself? Modifying the direction it's going? But reversing would be the fastest way...

Spot, I've been pondering this one .. . Si wants clip "B" to roll-out across "A" in the examples shown we get to have "A" animate .. not "B" which IS, I think, what Si wants - yes Si?

IM using REEL dvd and creating a DVD menu in vegas that is like a book, when you go to the next track selection page a "page" peels off, however ide like it so when you you press the the button to go back the pages peels back on so to speak.
