Although I haven't received your email yet, I did look into your account. I do show you having purchased VideoFactory 2.0 from us on 12/2/02, and I also show you having downloaded and registered for a trial key to Vegas Video 3.0. Obviously, there is some confusion here. Normally, you enter your serial number, then register, and you're all set. The only reason why you are seeing that 7 day warning is because you are using a seven day activation code for Vegas, not a full license. Give us a call and we'll sort this out for you:

This is an example of good support! Even though I've never really understood the need for a registration key, I've always found Sonic Foundry to be very flexible and quick to help whenever it caused any sort of grief. I appreciate how much you guys seem to care about your users.
