Is this possible?

I make a lot of photo montage videos. I sometimes need to import 200 or more pictures from the same directory into Vegas. I use automatic cross fads when I do this and the pictures play out with the music in mind. Is there a way to select all from a directory when browsing for media to import? I waste a lot of time importing them one at a time? I tried the option at the bottom (select file # 1-through whatever but that creates one large file of all the pictures and is impossible to work with). Anyone having this problem? I have messed with this forever, I give up. Anyone know how to do this?

I usually just drag and drop them from the Windows Explorer right onto the timeline. Select the first file, then shift-select the last file and drop them all on the timeline. They will remain individual pictures of the default length you have set up. It should work the same way from the media explorer too. I just use Windows Explorer because I can have multiple open up to multiple directories (for sounds files, images, video, etc.) and find it easier to keep them all open rather than navigate back and forth in the media window.

Usually ctrl-A will select all. When that many pics, it might take a minute or two for the reaction.

YOu can also ctr-A in the media pool and drag them to the timeline.
