I have an Creative labs Audigy Ex and when I try to record a second track... The first track & metronome are dubbed into the next track. I can't stop it. Then If I try to record a third track the first two are added to the third. I've been trying to get help on this for a while now.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to setup your Audigy correctly. What you are doing is recording what ever is being output by the audigy.

Use the 1) audigy users guide and 2) the Microsoft Mixer to configure what the Audigy will record. You basically want to record from the line in (or mic input.)

I think I know what is going on here, had the same problem with my audigy platinum. YOu need to go into creative on the start button, then go to mixer, and uncheck "what you hear" on the recording fader. What it is doing is sending everything to the main buss.
