ISO File Maybe Corrupted On Blu Ray

Hi guys
I really need some advice. Around 2 years ago I created a home movie on Vegas Platinum 12 and with the help of DVD architect I burnt the movie with chapters to blu ray. It worked well.

Yesterday I went to watch the blu ray and it wouldn't play. My player said that it didn't have a title. I then plugged another blu ray player (One that plays everything) and it played.
My first question is, why didn't my other blu ray player play the disc?

around 1.5 hrs into the home movie the picture froze and didn't move. After some playing around it seems a short part of the movie cannot be played. I put a weeks into this movie and I would hate to lose it.

Is there anything I can do to try and retrieve the file from the bluray? I do not have the original on my PC.

I have bout the full version of ISObuster but I am struggling.

Thanks

Error-handling among different devices is a crapshoot, so without a detailed analysis, no rational guesses are possible as to the reason.

It's an extremely common occurrence.

See if VideoRedo trial version will rip and Quickstream Fix the original file or disc.

Have you tried to use a disc copy program and create another copy? Some computer drives are more forgiving than desktop players.

With a computer drive and dodgy discs I have found a cold drive will sometimes read better than a warm drive.

Also, begin with the most basic.

Did you stick any type of label on the disc. If so, remove it.

Is the disc dirty? Carefully clean it.

Is the disc scratched? You may or may not be able to repair.

As stated, some computer player/writers seem to be able to read almost any disc. You might need to try several computers and/or programs.

You may be able to offload some or all of the data and re-generate the disc with a new menu or structure.

BluRay players and software can be much more finicky than DVDs because they are stuffing much more information into a tiny amount of space.

Hopefully something will help you.
