Issue with Stock Media (VEGAS Hub) Downloads After 194 Update

Hi,

I’m facing an issue after updating to version 194, and I’m unsure if others are experiencing it as well. Here's what’s happening:

High-Quality Media Downloads by Default:
When I use the "Instant on Timeline" button to download stock media, it automatically downloads the highest quality file (e.g., 4K MOV). However, I don’t always need 4K files, and for 1080p MP4 files, I have to click on the center of the stock media to open the quality options.

Quality Options Not Opening Consistently:
The first time I click the center of a stock media, the quality options appear. However, after that, the menu doesn’t open for any other stock media.

"Instant on Timeline" Button Stops Working:
Sometimes, after trying to access the quality options, the "Instant on Timeline" button itself becomes unresponsive. The only way to fix this is to restart VEGAS Pro, which disrupts my workflow.

I’ve attached a clip that demonstrates the issue in action for better clarity.

This has been happening consistently after the 194 update. Please look into this and let me know if there’s a solution or if a patch is planned for this issue.

@VEGASDerek why no one is noticing it and no reply yet sir...
I am in big problem now. VEGAS Hub is not working properly.
After one download I can't download more stock.

Have to restart my PC.
Even uninstall the AI Assistant.

Please help.

@iEmby I just tried the Hub. I have zero issues with it. My internet connection is fiber optic. Fast access and downloads from the hub. I can click on a video while in the hub, it expands within the hub and then I can decide the resolution of the download.

I am in USA eastern time zone. I have posted numerous times about this problem, contacted Magix support over 3 weeks ago with no response, other that a AI generated one.

I just uninstalled Vegas Pro along with Deep Learning Modules, and Mocha Vegas with Revo Uninstaller. Then updated my Intel GPU drivers with latest from Intel ( 13900K ) Although my main video card is a Zotac 4090 with latest studio drivers. In my Vegas preferences I have my 4090 set to Auto under Hardware Decoder to Use. Even if I set that to Max Performance, Hub does not work. I am just guessing and trying to trouble shoot any avenue that I can think of to get hub to work.

If you see my video below. Hub was not allowing me to log in before I uninstalled Vegas. After my re installation of Vegas I can log into hub. I get a preview, then when I click on a preview I get the spinning dots. I am getting audio in hub as you can see. If i click on download to timeline on video in hub nothing happens, it does not even go into my hub explorer. BUT at times some of the videos will download into my timeline. Its so erratic.

As I said in a earlier post we are at the mercy of Magix. I know its the holidays, but this problem has been occurring for some, way before the holidays. This has me wondering if engineers and support staff have been pulled from Vegas by Magix to other projects?

I guess we can speculate what is happening at Magix, but that is all it is, speculation. I am in the EU, although I would think that has nothing to do with it. I have selected "send to timeline" and it didn't work, but the file would be in the Project Media, sometimes 4 copies of it because I kept clicking to see if it would work.

I really don't use stock footage, but will spend time with the audio (music), and I've been able to download whatever I've selected.

I've never had to use Magix support, but there does seem to be a common theme... they aren't consistent in their responses. The user forum can only do so much, only being able to answer from experience.
