Issues with adding FX Effects to my videos, they go black.

Hi!

I'm having a huge issue with Sony Vegas 22.0 (build 239).

Whenever I'm trying to add an FX effect to a clip, the clip either goes black or starts glitching, happens with effects like, drop shadow, dream glow, lightning rays, etc (most effects).

Sometimes I can add effects to a separate clip that I've cut up, and the clips before or after also gets glitchy or turns black.

I've turned off the GPU Acceleration, however no luck.

I'm using the latest Sony Vegas 22.0, my GPU is up to date.

Here is my specs:

Windows 10 home 64-bit (10.0 build)

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600x Six-Core

GPU: NVIDA GeForce GTX 1080

Sony has nothing to do with it Vegas Pro 22.

All the effects that you listed are not native Vegas effects. What third party plugin packages to you have installed?

Oh yeah, sorry about that. Old habbit!

They're not? I think it might be NewBlue FX I have but I'm not really certain.

@Cypereze Seems then that this issue is stemming from that plugin. Go thru this plugin settings and make some adjustments with it's GPU etc. and see if you get better results.

You might also try clearing the cache in VEGAS.
