It can't run noise reduction

I just got the CD yesterday, and tried reducing the noise on something. But it says the plugins can;t run.
When I had the demo it did run, but it made 'beeps' every 5 seconds. But now, it never works.
Bunch of other stuff are not working. I think it's because I deleted bunch of files after the demo expired. I try to get my computer rid of every demo file, but it doesn't work. It seems that I'm just using the same demo files.

I tried uninstalling it, but same thing. All the files aren't working. So please, does anyone have any ideas.

Also, how can I edit basic sound. Like fade in, fade out.

You may have been using the demo of the full version of Vegas. The studio versions don't use DirectX plugins, so this is why Noise Reduction isn't available.

To add a fade, hover a cursor over the upper corner of the event on the timeline. The cursor should change to a quarter-circle with an arrow. Hold the mouse button down and drag in towards the center of the clip.
