Hi-
I have 4 computers with V4d installed. 2 XP Home and 2 Win2K. One of each OS type has a capture issue and the other 2 operate normally.
XP issue: Advanced capture grayed out and not accessible. The weird thing is if I open capture from outside the application (as if it were a standalone), all functions are available.
Win2K issue: Capture works normally 4 or 5 times and then won't recognize the deck again. At all. If I un/reinstall V4d, I get a few whacks at it, then nada.
It's not the deck because I use the same deck for all 4 computers.
The only thing I can think of is both of these computers had DVDA installed at one time. No one here liked the program so it has been uninstalled from both computers. I can't imagine that is the issue, but maybe there is some uninstall problem with a common file?
(Hmmmm, maybe when I get to work I will reinstall DVDA)
At any rate, I am on the hunt for a resolution to this problem. Any suggestions are welcomed.
TIA
