🆘 J-Cut and L-Cut in a practical way.

One doubt, I was watching a very old Vegas 12 tutorial, when I discovered that by combining the CTRL + ALT + SHIFT keys and clicking and holding between two events, it was possible to make a J-Cut or an L-Cut in a very practical way . Today this key combination serves to split the event by clicking on it. I don't understand why they removed something that was very useful... now the way I know to do J-Cuts and L-Cuts in a practical way is by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + U to ignore grouped events, then holding down CTRL + ALT between 2 events, or... No need to ignore grouped events, holding the SHIFT key and resizing the events, one and then the other. Does anyone know of another way to do this? An even more practical way, as it used to be, when it was just holding CTRL + ALT + SHIFT.

I even think the fact Ctrl+Alt+Shift while mouse-dragging Event edges doesn't work no more is a bug. It still should work.

I don't know if it's a bug, because as I showed this key combination it serves to divide an event, I think this causes a conflict, I don't know...

What works as another option is to switch from the Normal Edit Tool to the Slide Tool, then just press Shift while mouse dragging the Event's edge.

This is one thing I'm suffering from, I can't define a hotkey to go back to Normal Tool. I define a shortcut to go to Slide Tool, but the shortcut to go back to Normal Tool doesn't work, I don't know if it's a bug, but it just doesn't work.

This never worked. It returns back to the last used edit tool from the three tools on the right side of the dropdown menu but it does not switch back inside the dropdown menu.

I remember I once had made a macro to return to the Normal Edit Tool, using AHK (Auto Hot Key), but I think the straightest way to go for it would be to make Strg+Alt+Shift while mouse dragging should work again.

This method still works in Vpro20.

Yes, but we are looking for a way to perform a J-/L-Slide. Maybe the topic is bit midleading.
