Jagged Text and Images in Vegas 12

I seem to be having a problem introducing any type of smooth text into my videos. I'm using 1280 x 720 resolution and no matter what I use, there is noticeable jagged edges around any sort of text and images look equally poor. The video behind the text is clear and sharp. Using Sony Titles or the Pro Titles does not seem to make much difference. Both provide a truly poor looking font and image when added to the video. Isolating the text on a background emphasizes how poor the rendering quality is. Anyone have an idea as to the problem?

How are you viewing the video in which you see this issue?

Are you viewing it full-screen on a second monitor? Are you looking at an output video?

If you are looking at the Preview panel in Vegas, what quality setting is this panel set to?

Steve - thanks, good questions.

I see the jaggies in the preview window. I also notice that the fonts don't always change after you select and save.

I'm viewing them directly in vegas - preview syas 640x360, which might explain the issue. The controls are very difficult to see and set unless you know where to look and it's pointed out to you. Settin gthem to full resolution for preview using my graphics card and all is good with the world again. Thanks.
