Javascript error again in Forum

TorS wrote on 1/5/2003, 5:10 AM
Since last night (sunday noon here now) someone introduced a Javascript error to this forum. Each time I open or reload a page I get this message:

Error:

Last time something similar happened was in August. I mentioned it on the forum and it went away overnight.
Microsoft's Explorer is not very sensitive to script errors, so most of you will not have noticed anything at all.

Probably not wise to post this at the weekend. Adding this to bring the subject up front now tha the right people are (getting) back.
I could un-check the report javascript errors box but I don't want to. It helps me sort the sloppy sites from the professional :-).

Are you seeing this on every forum page? I'm running IE 6.0 with javascript errors reported and am not seeing anything.

Netscape 4.79 here, and no errors at all.

Every page, yes. I took a quick stroll to the top forum page and then to CD Architect - same story.
Every load or re-load og going back provokes the error.

Last time though, in August, I wasn't even able to post using Opera. That I can do now. So it's only the annoying error message popping ut all the time. Can't see that it does anything to the functionality, apart from slowing me down.

Not having any problems now... but like TorS said, I've seen them before and using just Microsoft's browser. For what its worth I've seen similar error messages on non SoFo sites.

It's not just the forum. The error seems to occur on every page at the SoFo site.
And yes, similar errors does appear at other sites, typically shopping sites. The MS Explorer seems to eat it all, and I can't help thinking this must have something to do with its bad reputation on security matters (or the other way round). Anyhow, I'm using Opera 6.05 and I have high faith in its ability to render correctly written scrips and pages.
I'd like to know if someone at SoFo is looking into this?
