Jerky Playback

I am having significant problems with jerky playback in Vegas Movie Studio. I have updated my Direct X, display/video card drivers, and what ever I thought needed updating, nothing has helped. Has anyone else had this problem. I also have ordered additional RAM but it is not in yet. Any help out their

If your problem is at previewing your work - then it is a common - however irritating - thing in VMS (and also Full Vegas).

Mostly it can be improved using lower quality and/or size of the preview.

There are several threads about it in this forum.
Look under jerky preview etc.
