JPGs as stills in VV

hi,

I have video of our holiday and at the end of the video I want to have a picture.

so Ive scanned a group photo, imported it, put it in a video track to be a still shot for 15 seconds and then faded it out.

Ive rendered my project to PAL DV format in VV then took it into DVD A to burn a disc
the output of the picture as a 15 second still is 'shakey'.

is there a setting i should be using to stop this shakey appearance ?

when i use some other vendros software for taking my digital pictures and making a slide show i dont have this "shakey" problem.

Regards
Jaime

Right click on the still and check reduce interlace flicker.

Otherwise, anything that blurs will help some - probably built in to some of those easier software packages.

I have also read on these boards somewhere that setting the "Video Rendering Quality" (found by clicking the "Custom" button and then clicking on the "Project" tab under the "Render As" selection in the "File" menu) to "Best" can make a big difference in the rendering quality of stills.
