Just black screen on track view

hi,
i have a big problem with vegas, and acid too. when i put some avi video to track view, it dowsn't shows the frames, just a black screen. if i open this avi with windows media player, or any other videoplayer, i can see the frames correctly...
i reinstalled acid and vegas for many times, put their to an other computer but nothing changed.
pls help me!

What video codec does it use? This can be seen at the bottom of the Vegas/ACID Explorer window after the stream length, or bring up the properties panel from the context menu.

I'm sorry, "DiVX ;)" is not a supported AVI codec.

Try opening in VirtualDub, render out to AVI and it should open in VV.

For some reason VirtualDub renders unedited DivX very fast. I average about 95 frames a second.

which type of render? direct streem copy is enough?

but i had used it al lot before i had this problem. it does this bug a few days ago... :(((
