Just loaded V9

I am getting too old to get easily excited but I find that
V9 loads on my computer in 10 seconds, V8 took 30 seconds and V6 took 12 seconds.
HDV footage plays 25 FPS and without any jaggies.

V. Good.

not sure about the new screen layout. I find it difficult to read. It's the age thing.

This layout is pretty much the way I've been using Vegas for the last 4 versions (except for the trimmer location). I like to keep the preview window at eye level.

The window layout works a lot better on a wide screen, though. Happily, it's all adjustable.

I'm really happy that they made the trimmer window prominent by default. I was getting tired of reading the constant "play's my audio but were's my video?" posts.

agree it's a lot faster to load, and I like the new look, too, very professional...nice improvements so far, at least visually.

You just know that there'll be a "feature" in this new release that'll have people asking a different question repeatedly :-)

Just downloaded the trial and the play back is definately an improvement with HDV and cineform files so thank you sony for that.
