With Windows 10, R click the desktop and click on 'Personalize' at the bottom of the context menu; in the window that opens click on 'Home' (top LH corner); in the window that then opens click on 'System'; in the window that then opens click on 'About' (bottom LH corner); et voila - your computer information should then be displayed in the window that opens.

Or even quicker, type 'About' in the taskbar's search field and the best match should be 'About your PC' - click on that and it takes you to the same screen as above.

My experience is that it is found automatically and entered in the screen. I've never had to manually find it and enter it.
