JVC SR-VS30U and pass-through

We've got 2 of these ordered for student edit suites and realized that we don't know if they're capable of pass-through to an external monitor or not. Can they be used this way or do we still need a Canopus box?

Yes Mike, I have two that I use for external monitors and capture.

Thanks Randy. The (dumb on my part) thing is that I did read filmy's post when I was researching this deck and forgot all about it. Write it off to a very long week. I think it's time for a rest and, since it's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, it will be :-)
