Sometimes I just want to capture a movie, add some images and other clips, a few transitions, and finish with some start and end text.

How do you set you ScreenBlast up for that without messing up the soundfiles, squeezing the existing video, etc.? Other editing programs have a storyboard where you can drop whatever in and captured event just move complete along with your drop ins and the original soundfile is intact.

How do we keep Screenblast simple and stupid (KISS)? What's the settings? As it is now, I use Movie Creator or VideoStudio for something simple.

If the other programs work for what you want, why would you want to dumb down a good versatile program like ScreenBlast?

I'm sorry, but I don't understand the question - "messing up the soundfiles, squeezing the existing video" - what's the difference between a simple edit and a more complex one?

Im confused as well.. MS3 is very easy. You simply drag video clips, sound files, and text overlays to the timeline.

Are you using the trial version? If so, you can download the usermanual - it gives a good walk thru of the functionality of MS3.
