Keeping V4 from Putting Recent Renders in Timeline

I've checked the preferences boxes, but can't find how to disable this..

eg after every render, vegas 4 puts the most-recently rendered clip in a new video/audio track in the source project timeline w/new a/v tracks, I don't want this to happen ... anyone know how to prevent vegas from doing this?

Don't use the "Render to New Track" command from the tools menu.
Use "Render as" from the File menu.
