Keeping video and audio together when cutting/deleting

What feature needs to be on or setting checked to keep
audio/video together when editing??

VF2 demo keeps them together with cut/paste/copy on timeline here?
In Vegas I have to use the ctrl key to add in the audio to the region selection for editing clips on the timeline. Group feature could help you also, right click with 2 or more audio and/or video clips selected and select groups.
