KERNELBASE.dll crash?

Hello, I am experiencing recent trouble with my VEGAS Pro 17, where I click Render As and the program immediately crashes. This did not use to happen, it only happened recently, which leaves me very confused about what could have changed on my system to be causing crashes now rather than before... What could be causing it?

Problem Description
   Application Name:    VEGAS Pro
Application Version: Version 17.0 (Build 455)
   Problem:             Unmanaged Exception (0xe0434352)
   Fault Module:        C:\Windows\System32\KERNELBASE.dll
   Fault Address:       0x00007FFD83A84FD9
   Fault Offset:        0x0000000000034FD9
