Well, you've disabled everything GPU-related, are using a CPU only encoder and still can't render? That's not good.

Did you update Intel and NVIDIA GPU drivers?

Did you already do a software reset?

Is it just this project and media or can you not render anything? There is a sample project from VP 16 with known good media which should really render in any version of Vegas without issue.

Custom PC (2022) Intel i5-13600K with UHD 770 iGPU with latest driver, MSI z690 Tomahawk motherboard, 64GB Corsair DDR5 5200 ram, NVIDIA 2080 Super (8GB) with latest studio driver, 2TB Hynix P41 SSD, Windows 11 Pro 64 bit

Dell XPS 15 laptop (2017) 32GB ram, NVIDIA 1050 (4GB) with latest studio driver, Intel i7-7700HQ with Intel 630 iGPU (latest available driver), dual internal SSD (256GB; 1TB), Windows 10 64 bit

VEGAS Pro 19.651
VEGAS Pro 21.108

Use the driver update utility in the VEGAS help menu to download any drivers it recommends.

From there, make sure you do not have legacy AVC or legacy HEVC decoders enabled, you want both check boxes in the file i/o menu to be unchecked.

See if that helps, and we'll go from there.

This is WINDOWS crashing. Search Google for "Unmanaged Exception (0xe0434352)" and you will see this is related to your installation of .NET (specifically it appears to be referencing .NET 3.5).

Omar123 wrote on 4/18/2022, 3:24 PM

@jetdv IT's still crashes....

jetdv wrote on 4/18/2022, 3:38 PM

@Omar123, it's still a WINDOWS crash, not a VEGAS crash. Did you do the google search on that error message and try the various things mentioned there?

Omar123 wrote on 4/18/2022, 4:12 PM

@jetdv I did a sfc /scannow but Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

VEGASPascal wrote on 4/20/2022, 6:37 AM

@Omar123 Did you submit a bug report with additional information? With version 550 I can't find a suitable error message. In the previous version, there were reports that there were issues with third-party providers like BCC Primatte Studio which creates a lot of crashes.

VEGASPascal wrote on 4/20/2022, 6:39 AM

For all users: Please write the last steps in the message box and your forum name to find it in the Error Reporting System.

Steve_Rhoden wrote on 4/20/2022, 10:09 AM

Try downloading and installing the Microsoft .Net Runtime 5.0.9 & 6.0.1 (64bit).....See if that helps!

If not, just revert to using the previous version for the time being (build 532).

Omar123 wrote on 4/21/2022, 1:21 PM

unfortunately this didn't help. Anyone else other tips

VEGASDerek wrote on 4/21/2022, 1:40 PM

This is unlikely a .net runtime issue.

Pridak wrote on 4/21/2022, 2:13 PM

Maybe try to re-install NET.Framework packages. Links to versions from 3.5 SP1 to 4.8 are available here: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework

fr0sty wrote on 4/21/2022, 3:02 PM

As suggested above, when it crashes, put your forum name and email address into the crash report, that will enable the developers to find your crash in the system and reach out to you for any more info they need to track down the source.

If you do not get a crash report window when it crashes, let us know. Also probably good that you file an official support request as well.

The user is in contact with support and the support team is currently working with some of the developers to diagnose this problem.

Omar123 wrote on 4/21/2022, 3:37 PM

@fr0sty I am for over a month talking with the helpdesk and provided a lot of logfiles and crashreports. Sometimes they dont react for weeks. My customers are still waiting for their videos. This is not how it suppost to go with a helpdesk. i offered money for a digital session to go through all the settings and still they dont come with a solution. By the way they never talked about .NET issues.

fr0sty wrote on 4/22/2022, 11:43 AM

Make sure you actually do implement the fixes they suggest, which I'm sure they've seen if you have or have not tried their fixes by going through your preferences... Derek already confirmed this is very likely not a .net issue, and he knows more about this software than any of us, so I'd take his word for it.

Just remember, a windows system 32 folder error indicates a problem with your windows installation, not VEGAS, so there likely isn't much they are going to be able to do if that is the case. You'll have to fix whatever underlying problem exists in windows to get VEGAS working.

@VEGASDerek can you do something to speed up the proces I am now over a month troubleshooting with the helpdesk and tried various options and settings and deliver always a crash/log reports.

The time till i get an another option/suggestion from the helpdesk takes too long.I have to deliver 4 video's the day after tomorrow. And i already passed the deadline. I will lose al lot of customers if i dont deliver on time!

Omar123 wrote on 4/29/2022, 6:58 AM

@VEGASDerek still in diagnosing the problem. I hear nothing from the helpdesk.

Former user wrote on 4/29/2022, 7:40 AM

@Omar123 As stated above it might be one of those reasons but please supply the MediaInfo asked for,

There's a tool called MediaInfo, download it, it's free https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo
After downloading, right click on the media in your Windows folder, open MediaInfo, choose Text from the View option, select all, copy & paste in a comment here,

Also, can you go to your icon at the top, click it - My Profile, & fill in your Signature with your Vegas version, Windows version & system specs, full name of CPU, GPU, & amount of RAM etc. this will then show at the bottom of the comments & will help people help you 👍 (see mine & other peoples at the bottom of comments) thanks.
