Key Frames and Linear Motion

I created a graphic (.psd file 720 x 1000) for a credit roll. I have 2 keyframes and 1 is set at the top, and the other at the bottom so that it scrolls down the image. Both keyframes are set at Linear. However, it starts slower and speeds up and then really slows down at the end. I have tried all the settings and none of them have a steady scroll.

I am using Sony Vegas 4.0e. I hear that you lose more control in v5, so I will stick with what I have, but does anyone know if this is a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Change the "Smoothness" to zero. (default is 100)

Thank you very much, that did the trick. I read about some other comments about smoothness on this forum, but I didn't realize this was my problem.

Where abouts is "smoothness" setting values in veg 4?

On the left side of the Pan/Crop window. You may have to make the screen larger to see it.
