Okay so i'm trying to change my cut and delete keybinds to a keybind on my mouse buttons. When i try and do this nothing happens but with keyboard keys it works fine. Does anyone know how i can change these to mouse buttons? If so thanks!

Eh? What’s a “Keybind”?

Okay so that word might not have been the best choice for that but i mean in customize keyboard. For example to cut the video you press S. S is the keybind for cutting a video, that is what i mean. What i am trying to do is assign my mouse buttons to deleting a clip on the timeline and also cutting a clip on the time line

The way to do this can be very easy, depending on which mouse manufacturer you have. You do not need to change anything in the Vegas software or Vegas settings. The key to do this is to make your keybinding in the mouse software. For example if you have a Logitech mouse, do it in their software, if you have an evolent mouse (helps with RSI) do it in their sw etc...

You can bind the 'S' to any of the keys in the mouse sw. Sometimes the mouse and keyboard settings are both in the specific input device software from the manufacturer.
