Keyboard shortcuts for these functions?

I'm using Vegas 5. These shortcuts should be - and probably are- embarassingly simple, but I can't find reference to them anywhere. Picture a track with many segments. Select 1 of the segments. Now, I want to select the previous or next segment, sequentially. How do I do this? Also, if my cursor is between segments, how do I move it to the beginning of the next segment? Finally, is there a way using the keyboard to select the segment currently under the cursor?

7 and 9 on the numeric keypad will do this. However, you'll also be in "editing" mode (press 5 on the numeric keypad to exit) and it will take TWO keypresses to get past ONE event.

Once again, the numeric keypad 9 key should do this for you.

You could always write a script to do this or any of the above and assign the script(s) to a keypress(es)
